Residential Pest Control

Whole-home protection, visit after visit.

Serving Massachusetts & Connecticut

New England homes give pests everything they want: fieldstone foundations with a century of settling cracks, cedar shakes and clapboard siding full of gaps, damp basements, and woods or salt marsh at the property line.

Our recurring residential program is built for exactly this housing stock — a layered exterior barrier that stops ants, spiders, wasps, and mice before they reach the sill plate, refreshed on every scheduled visit.

How Seaport treats household pests

  1. 1

    Perimeter liquid application

We apply a professional non-repellent liquid around the foundation, sealing the tiny entry points along walls and sill plates. Because insects can't detect it, they walk through it and carry it back to the nest — eliminating the colony, not just the scouts you see.

  2. 2

    Extended perimeter granules

Granules spread into the lawn and beds create a second barrier well away from the house, soaking into the soil to break the egg cycle. No more line of dead bugs on the front porch — pests are stopped before they ever reach the wall.

  3. 3

    Windows, doors & eaves pre-treatment

Entry points around windows and doors get extra attention, and we apply a natural residual product to the eaves that deters bees, wasps, spiders, and web-building.

  4. 4

    De-webbing & nest removal

Our de-webber poles extend 30 feet, letting us clear spider webs, egg sacs, and wasp nests from eaves and peaks — including the second-story gables most companies skip.

  5. 5

    Interior service, by request

Targeted crack-and-crevice work where pests actually hide — not spraying your floors and walls. You won't need to leave the room. Wall-void injections through existing plumbing openings handle wet-wall activity.

What to expect

Visits follow our four-step method: advance notification about a week ahead, a walk-around inspection while de-webbing, IPM-based treatment (exterior every visit, interior on request), and a written review with prevention tips. Spot treatments — an ant hill by the swing set, spiders on the play structure — are free on any recurring visit.

Timing & seasonality

Spring visits knock down overwintering ants and wasp queens starting new nests; summer focuses on the exterior barrier at peak pressure; fall shifts to exclusion as mice and stink bugs push indoors; winter visits address interior activity while pests are concentrated.

Residential questions, answered

Do I need to leave the house during treatment?

No. Exterior treatments don't require you to leave at all, and interior work is targeted crack-and-crevice application — you can stay in the room while we work.

Is the treatment safe for kids and pets?

Yes. We use kid-and-pet-friendly products placed where pests travel, not broadcast over living spaces. Once the exterior application is dry — typically under an hour — the lawn and yard are fully usable.

What if pests come back between visits?

Covered by our Retreatment Guarantee: if activity returns between scheduled visits, we come back and re-treat at no charge.

Do you treat inside on every visit?

Exterior barrier work happens every visit because that's where infestations start. Interior treatment is performed whenever you request it, at no extra cost on a recurring plan.
